Does Starbound Have Short Range Teleporters

I was wondering if there was a short range teleporter in Starbound that would only go from point A to point B to make the distance traveling faster when traversing an area or are all the teleporters just linked together? I ask this because i didn't want to have a lot of links to cycle through when teleporting to a location i want to go to when i'm in an area i just want a quick link to get too.
