RP DEPTHS: The old city.

He slowly peeks around the frame, whispering. "What's the problem."

She flinches slightly, "It's ok. There should be enough of us here to fend one off."

 

He still clings to you, but he nods

 

She pats you on the head with her free hand, "Careful now."

You watch as another mi-go rushes out of the upper floor, gliding to the other side of the narrow street and scrabbling into the upper floor of the next building...

You nail it in the side.
Simo shoots the leg, ruining one of its clawed feet.

 

Malcolm climbs down from his vantage point and approaches Demina and Bryon.

 

Bryon smiles...until he hears illithid...

Bryon just hides behind Demina, shivering

 

Sasha aims to finish it off with a cap to the head.

 

((Sorry, to the building and gunshots..))

He trains his gun on the building it entered and starts backing to the building it came from, "On the move opposite building on the street!"

She waves to Malcolm, "What did you shoot just a moment ago?" and returns to patting Bryon, looking at Malcolm with a worried stare, "Don't worry, the Illithid helped us with a shoggoth earlier."

 

"A creature who was threatening Ron; however, he seemed ungrateful." He turns to Bryon. "I trust Strange about as far as I can kick him, same goes for our other 'guides'."

 

"Did you hit it? is Ron ok?"

 

"Yes I hit it, but that idiot followed the creature, all but holding up a neon sign saying: 'Free meal'"

 

Cain is a little unnerved by the odd depictions on the artworks, but takes them nonetheless. He decides to walk back to camp to drop them off, and maybe get them evaluated.

 

Bryon is just confused... He just looks terrified...

 

Demina looks confused for Bryon, "We should check on him then!"

 

" U-u-u-uh....w-w-would t-that be...w-w-w-wise? "

 

"Not in the slightest."

 

"Would you rather hope he makes it back by himself?"

 

"Yes, I rather would."

 

The result is oddly similar to when you shot the shoggoth, the bullet sending ripples and throwing it off balance, but it manages to maintain enough speed to glide to the other side of the street, slinking into the room. You see it heading up the stairs in the room across the street.
Sklod arrives into the room.
Simo finally notices the box lies on the ground, contents scattered everywhere.

The thing is still glowing on the ground. You can hear activity in the floor above.
"Oh my... I will prefer that specimen be alive."
Says the Salzar.

You soon arrive back at camp.
