RP DEPTHS: The depths

Lescalius just looks at the group, then back to the dark. He turns to the group, sighing and shaking his head as he walks up to it, seemingly coming along with you all.
" I took an oath to you and to being a doctor. If I don't come, I'm breaking that to you Arietta. Even If you don't remember it. "

He coughs, looking annoyed
" Well lead on then. But I didn't think I was that tall, dark and scary now. "

 

Linette extends her arm for a handshake. "Good to have you back, doc."

 

Roland smiles a little and pats your shoulder.
"Thanks...Just...Give us some time to catch things as they fall next time, alright? And also don't get left behind again...."

 

He gives you a smile, shaking your hand

He just chuckles a bit

 

Rin motions for the group to follow him back to camp.
"Let's... Let's get a move on. By the way, keep an eye on Lescallia, Roland. We don't need another of her outbursts of hatred claiming the life of one of us. I trust you."

 

Roland pats Lescallius's shoulder one last time and walks closer to Lescallia, "Hey, you alright?"

 

Lescalius just goes wide eyed at Lescallia's reaction

She jumps, breathing rapidly
" G-g-get away from me! "

" Ah. Seems she's having a panic attack...."

 

"It's bound to happen when you believe your sibling is a monster. Of course, we know the truth, Doc, don't we?"
Rin talks in a knowing, almost jeering, way.

 

He gives you an unamused glare and a saccharine smile
" Funny. Should I take the mask off, hmm? "

 

Linette attempts to break the tension. "Okaaaay... Great, so now that we're done with the pleasantries, why don't we get a move on, hmm? Y'know, like a team?"

 

"Perhaps, when it is needed most. For now, I'd recommend keeping it on."
He looks to Linette.
"Of course, lass. T'was just having a jest at the Doctor."

 

Roland puts his hands up and backs up a step.
"Okay okay, listen, just get through this fare and we'll all be fine, those who wish can go their separate ways...Can you make it to that?"

 

She nods, looking like a frightened animal...

 

Roland whispers, speaking low so Lescallius couldn't hear.
"Hey, he ain't gonna hurt you or anyone else, if something's happened to him or you one, we'll figure it out.."

 

She just nods affrightenedly

 

"What are you so scared of?"

 

"Alright, how about we put you on the opposite side of camp when we get back, okay? Far away from the Doc. Would you like that?"

 

" H-h-him..."

" Y-yes...I..Would..."

 

"That is exactly what we will do, then."

 

"Relax, just keep your distance from him if you don't want to be around him, he can't try something if he wanted to, there's too many people with us.."
