I know that this has been mentioned before, but it needs to happen, and some of them can be combined eg. Protective and Friendly becomes Protective Friendlies.

    Types

    Protective
Different creatures should do different things, like a species comes out of a burrow and attacks you, you kill it and go into the burrow and find smaller ones of the monster you just killed, it was protecting its young.

    Prey
A creature(s) runs away from you as soon as you go near it, maybe you can go near it if you walk slowly with no weapon in your hand.

    Predator
Maybe it hunts in packs or alone, it could sneak attack, it would be cool if they hunted their prey sometimes sneaking, maybe lunging or maybe ambushing or chasing.

    Territorial
They could give you a warning and you could hear it growling and baring its teeth at you, and when you come to close it starts to charge at you.

    Friendly
They usually are in packs, of 5-15 they usually come to you and walk of or stay, they sometimes take you in to their cave, home, and they have a little spot of ground, hay, stuff where you can sleep with them.

    Builders/Smart
They build things to live in, they could move boulders to there entrance to block out predators

    Life

    Hunting
Predators hunt other creatures and even YOU! They try to get into the builders/smart homes. They chase some, sneak up on some and leap on some. They can hunt in packs.

    Age
They age: Babies-Young-Adult. They can be seen with their mother, farther, playing, hunting with their mother, farther. Most young are friendly.

    Disasters
It would be pretty cool if the burrows collapsed and when you save them, they become your pets. They can be hunted by NPCs.

    Feeding Time
The parents and the young go out and have some plants or meat or both with some water. The babies don't come out, the mother/father feeds them.

Great ideas and would definitely make the game a lot more interesting as in games like this the creatures and biomes is what I play for. Thats why I am so interested in a game called No Man's Sky. But really good ideas, maybe you can find nests on top of large hills and mountains which are guarded by some birds. And inside the nest are eggs which you can either hatch to have it as a pet (like falcons and stuff irl) or you can eat it.
