Closed (crash)can't explore planet fully-

I have not had many issues with starbound, and for a beta it's quite good, but basically I started to walk to the left, found this huge temple thing, anyway I wanted to go past it for now till I had better gear to take it on, but when I tried to get past it I kept crashing would freeze and go not responding.. so then I decided to go to the right... and when I explore far it crashes also, anyone else have this issue?
