"Some x-ray vision you got there." Withdrawing his hand, empty from his jacket, Gallagher's posture stiffened. "I'm just looking to get these jokers carted of to the hospital or something."

Ahead are the residencies, while the Paramount headquarters are a fair distance to her right.
She gets to the residencies' gate fairly quickly. Guards are stationed at the gate, but they don't give her any hassle. A civilian worker, a Novakid man, approaches her. "Are you looking to rent an apartment?"
"Pardon my military sensibilities, but whatever quarrel you had with them is no reason to let them die once they're out of action... Assuming they're still alive of course." Gallagher's disproval of the hylotl's demeanour was clear.
