The GPS is limited in its functionality- It serves mainly to direct inhabitants of the city to their apartments. It shows that the shells are being sent out of the city's borders, but does not provide any more information.
With a frown, Gallagher stuffs the GPS into one of the pockets of his jacket and makes his way towards the apartment. Wondering what they might be shelling; on second thought, he was glad they weren't bombarding their own people.
Without using the device, Gallagher has trouble finding the apartment building in the rather expansive residential area.
Taking the GPS out again to regain his bearings, Gallagher makes another attempt to find the building.
This makes it much easier, and Gallagher easily finds the building. On either side of its doors are two guards. They see the device and grant him entry.
"Finally; this place is like a maze... Door guards? Not sure if I should feel relieved or concerned." Passing the guards, Gallagher made his way to the room that the GPS lead him to.
The GPS display changes. Instead of the map, it now shows Floor 5, Room 34. An elevator is located at the end of the hall.
Taking the elevator to floor five, Gallagher walked to room 34, keeping a tight grip on the GPS, since the device was probably also going to serve as his door key.
On the way to the door, Gallagher sees three guards- An Apex, a Human, and an Avian- lying on the ground, and he can hear a female novakid making use of a certain choice word. Most of the nearby citizens seem to have the same question, while the nearby guards look up at the Citadel, which is now firing streams of glowing projectiles. Ekal is able to see the three guards who had caused her trouble, lying flat on the ground. There is no sign of their attacker, but an oddly-dressed human man can be seen walking down the hall from the elevator.[DOUBLEPOST=1451586596][/DOUBLEPOST]Siel`thrak wakes from an inactive state in the trash compactor of Paramount R&D. She would not be able to reach the trash chute, as it is located on the roof of the room. The walls are not designed for durability- Maybe they can be breached? @zeskorion
She may hear some civilians discussing this- Rumors on the intended target of these projectiles. Most seem to think that the Citadel is bombarding a rebel military installation. @Roland Weiss
Stoping his march a few paces away from the guards, taking a moment to search for what might have sent them sprawling. When the we'll say 'jumpy' novakid looked like she was looking for trouble, he simply stepped toward her and swiped at her hands in an attempt to knock her comically oversized handgun away. "Whoa there, sunshine; slow down before you do something you regret."
One of the guards stirred slightly- None of them seem to have any life-threatening wounds. The projectiles do not look much like rockets- They seem to be some form of plasma projectile.
