Cooler Guards v1.0 =============== What this MOD does: - It replaces all tier 6 impervium guards with more varied ones - Adds more variety to tier 6 guards in general - Reduces the Tier-Requirements from ridiculous 12 to reasonable 6 - Makes all tier 6 guards always pay pixels instead of throwing crap at you - Leaving your Ship and/or Planet(s) intact after removal What this MOD does NOT: - Do wonders - Fixing every mistake Chucklefish made with the Colony-System - Changing any skin or hair colors. Shout at Chucklefish for this, not me. - Affecting anything else than tier 6 guards - Corrupting your Ship or Planet(s) you used this MOD on after removal OK! Now, how to actually use this MOD? Place a light, a gunchest/weaponchest and an impervium bed or table or chair into the room you want a guard to spawn and place the deed. If you want a race-specific one, additionally place a poster or something that occupies 8 blocks from this race into the room. That's it. Note: Impervium is related to the Seperator's Table where you can craft the necessary furniture. If you love your guards throwing random crap at you, just delete the following folder INSIDE the ME_Cooler_Guards folder: tenants But this comes with a drawback: Now your Tier-Requirements are back to ridiculous 12. ho ho ho Enjoy. Thanks for the answer! I really enjoyed but modifications to receive money, and mummification for 6 blocks too! Not only enjoyed the change in appearance, Does anyone know how I can remove only the changes of appearance? Please!
If you had been that bit clearer earlier, you could have had the appropriate answer earlier, too., If the folder INSIDE the ME_Cooler_Guards folder = "tenants" is responsible for the rent and furniture requirements, then the other remaining folder = "npcs" must be the one responsible for the looks. ho ho ho Not only does logic tell us this, but also reality. Have a nice day.
I have some suggestions if your willing to listen -can you make the guards vanity able to be modified by the player that spawned/created them? -can you make guards able to receive commands form the player that spawn/created them too? -commands would be follow, protect, guard, patrol, and kill. --follow would make them follow the entity that you choose --protect would make them act like old guards that follow the player/npc you choose while protecting them --guard would make them protect a object or room you choose --patrol would make them do their basic walk around and kill enemies --kill this makes the guard follow the entity/player and try to kill them and return to you when they are done
I don't remember ever having been part of Chucklefish, which would be the correct address for this totally arrogant request. Have a nice day.
Sorry, for the late reply, It simply no longer works correctly in the latest build! See, you are the very FIRST of over 300 people, who have downloaded this MOD, to "report" problems with the latest version of Starbound. So I never uploaded a fixed version of my MOD (which was very easy to do). ...and will not until at least v1.0 of Starbound is officially released. Have a nice day.
Sorry, but NO. "...tier 4 is the best you can get as of now" isn't the only thing hindering me of still having fun with Starbound. I got my money's worth out of it for sure, but this seems to be it now.
