"Star-bound for fun."? "Tales from the Captain's table"? "Lima bean crackers"? I'm not good at naming non-fantasy stuff...
This is utterly adorable. Yet I would be completely infuriated if I were at that dinner. Also dat newspaper.
Looks like something you would draw! Great drawing btw, i love this lineless artstyle, it's very soothing for the eyes
Thanks mate! You might notice I used to use gradient to make a glowy effect on Aqu - decided to scrap it possibly from now on specifically because it clashes with the lineless, shadeless style everything else is in.
This is the greatest thing to ever grace my ever-unworthy eyes. What did we do to deserve such an artwork.
Nonsense, I won't believe a word of it! You're the greatest, I tell you! THE GREATEST! No seriously, in all honesty this is instantly one of my favorite artworks of all time. Keep up the good work!
Hey, hey guess what. Technically there may be, but none of them are exactly like you, and we love you in this here thread. ❤
It is currently 2:00 AM here in Australia, and I am freezing to death in my chair, compiling snippets from a webcomic to make a tribute to their art. I have almost zero talent in drawing, let alone the equipment to start, and the most I've done is just small sketches of random things I try every few months when I rediscover my notebook. I don't know if my inability to make art is the reason I love and appreciate the art of other people, maybe it's my primitive brain that really likes organised shapes and colours, or maybe it's completely unrelated and I'm just babbling, but whatever way it is it has led me to this glorious comic. I'm tired, I'm freezing, and I have to retype a couple of words two or three times, but I decided to open up photoshop and make some sort of collage with your pictures as a symbol of my appreciation. I'm very tired, so there's a good chance I won't like what I've made when I wake up, so sorry about any mistakes. Alright, I'm gonna pass out now. Thanks for everything!
Oi, don't sell yourself short, you make good art. Honestly, most of the hungry masses of the generation of internet will take just about anything, and this certainly stands above most of that. Also, in my experience, the "great artists" of this generation have no idea what they're doing, they just do. I'm not saying don't stay humble, but you do good work and you should appreciate yourself a little. That is one dedicated fan!
Right now this thread is the only thing that tethers me to the starbound forums since the discord also exists
