Collections Glitch

Im not sure if it’s just me but I find this very annoying. Since buying the game months ago, I have been unable to complete a collection. The issue is not cuz I can’t find the items, but cuz it doesn’t register that I have found them. For instance, it shows that I have created an Iridium Bar but does not show the copper, iron or gold bars. It makes no sense. I have tried several saves and it won’t work at all. Any ideas?
