    oh shit. oh shit. i just realized something about A Certain Magical Index's Magical God Othinus arc...

    othinus isn't "like" odin. she didn't pull her eye out "like" odin, to gain wisdom. she doesn't use weapons "like" odin's. she IS odin.
    the arc isn't JUST about othinus. it's Ragnarok. it's LITERALLY Ragnarok. in myth, Ragnarok isn't something that happened, it's something that WILL happen.
    Ragnarok, the battle ending with the death of everything. gods, men, and the world.

    the first battle of book 10 begins with Accelerator destroying a mushroom cloud, described as looking like a tree. the death of the Yggdrasil.
    during the battle against Dainsleif, surtr is summoned. the fire giants.
    before challenging Touma, Thor kills the other members of Gremlin.
    Othinus loses her powers as a Magical God. the death of the gods.

    during book 9, touma is killed by othinus.
    in his right arm is imagine breaker, the base of the world.
    when imagine breaker is destroyed at the end of WW3, a dragon flies from his arm, and is swallowed by imagine breaker. a serpent devouring itself.
    image breaker IS the Ouroboros, Jormungandr, and has been killed.

    the death of the gods, the death of men, and the death of the world.

    So after several hours of playing more Persona Q I stopped at the beginning of the last floor of the fourth dungeon, and...
    Well... if the sudden change of scenery wasn't enough of a warning that major plot twists are waiting beyond the boss door then the new music would make it abundantly clear.



    Tomorrow I'll know if my theories were correct.
