So I just pulled Felicia in Fire Emblem: Heros, and this makes me happy.
I'm gonna get my Maid Mayhem to Murder Mages (and probably lots of teacups).
Seriously, I only recently started playing seriously, and it's kinda amazing how... not P2W this game feels.
Sure, pulling good units is always gonna help, but when the odds are actually in your favour to pull a 4* over a 3* (like holy shit what), and the summoning system doesn't exactly shaft you.
This alongside pretty good free units, and the many customisation systems such as skill inheritance (you have distant counter? I have distant counter) means that sure, Felicia might not be the top-tier meta, but I can make her work.

seriously FE:H is an amazingly kind mobile game.
if you like fates in any capacity, try it out.

 

I avoided this game because I don't like character collection games.
I tried it out because of what you said and I think I'm going to run with it, at least for a bit.
