Nothing like having a downed squad begging for your attention as a medic while pinned down by an enemy apc.
Even worse yet when you don't have the supplies to save everyone.

Spoiler: Really Bad. More tears have been had, and it just introduced several things which make the whole thing so much harder.

 

And for that I am thankful.

I wanted Wolf's sacrifice to be a real sacrifice. Wolf's biggest fear is to be just a speck of dust in the world, an insignificant pest whom will not be remembered. Defeating Spek means having to erase herself from the world, thereby making sure no one will ever know who she was. It was only at the last possible moment that she remembered how everyone loves her, and that only strengthened her resolve. This last page was a miracle granted to her by our own clan leader (or a replica thereof), a little something to put Wolf at ease.

TBH, I probably am gonna miss Wolf. Gonna be odd, one less character to have trouble to take note of and remember when all I can really remember is Aaron Swope Is Dope (He's still around, right? I think you killed off a few people before, and I unfortunately find it hard to remember everything :c)

That said, just have Spek and Wolf wake up in some random ass field, so you can complete the epic spinoff SPEK and WOLF, DOING ARTSY STUFF I GUESS?
