Clan Infinity: Legend of the Spiked Kebab, and its search for Cheerios

Sunless Sea is a pretty amazing game. One of my favorite parts of it so far is the story of "The Genial Magician" who's a member of your crew you can help out.
It's simmilar to Moby Dick. Creature eats a guy's limb. Guy becomes furious and pursues it to enact his revenge.
Except that instead of a whale it's a magical dream snake that lives behind mirrors and the Magician has a hook hand and is gonna beat the shit out of that dream snake.
It's also got a ton of alternate endings. TONS. Around 12 of them.

Well the Genial Magician's story has like 12 endings.
Sunless Sea has a bunch of endings too.
You can end the game on a tie at any time if you retire. In order to win you need to complete your ambition. You can also earn a tie by staying on the surface.

 

I've always had trouble keeping up with the expenses and the such. How did you manage to make any money, and not use it all on repairing your old dingy?

I did the Curator's quest. Talk to him in Venderbight. He gives you 16000 echoes if you complete it. Also I savescummed the riddle game a lot.

 

...curator's quest? Never heard of it. I'll try it out.
