I am having nightmares even more ofter and they keep getting worse and it is not fun anymore.

 

I have nightmares sometimes in the summer because my blanket is making me too hot and I overheat. Once I expose my feet or parts of my body, then my core body temperature goes down, and I stop having nightmares.

You should also check to see if you have something else bothering you during your sleep; sometimes stress during sleep can translate into nightmares.
