Unlike CDs, those things are truly obsolete. I remember watching an anime where they predicted that in the future, CDs will be so small, it could literally falls down a sewer drain slit. There's this hilarious scene where a man was holding his mini-cd in his thumb and dropped it and it fell right into the sewer through the slits. It was hilarious and I can't find it online because I forgot what the anime was called.

I tried and failed. It was an anime about a guy looking for part time job accidentally got into a band of mercenaries and there's this plotline where brains are controlling people to do stuff and this girl and her lesbian girlfriend are trying to stop it and the protagonist boy really didn't do anything special and was later fired right before the final battle, which is good because everyone, literally every protagonist and side characters died in the end, except him.
