Bug/Issue Character will not sprint, only walks

So i just downloaded the game, now that 1.0 has been released, to see what's new for my self. I launch the game, create a character, and start. Sail wakes me up, i get out of bed, and start walking around (without holding the shift key at the time). I think to myself, that my character is moving quite slow, so i check the controls, and nothings wrong, the LShift and RShift are both bound to walk/sprint. I tried a bunch of things, but i cannot seem to find a solution. Also this is the reason I made a forum account. Does anyone have any clue to what might be causing this?

Running is prohibited on Protectorate property!
I think you are locked to walking until a certain stage of the tutorial.
