changing occupation not changing

I went to the statue, paid my money, choose fishing and went to sleep. When I check in the morning, but fishing level is still an embarrassing 1. I tried this 3 times. Am I doing something wrong?

 

I'm not sure what you are trying to do here?

If i understand the process properly . If you have chosen a profession once having reached level 5, then you can change it to a different profession. But I don't think It gives you a profession you have not earned?
