See title. If you get really ambitious with it, could add grass/flower trail as it runs like in the game?
Why dont you try asking the author of fluffy dogs? they look adorable and pretty close to chibiterasu! either you can ask them to do it, or ask for permission to make simple edits to their assets (the white fluffy dog, to be specific), if you were to get permission, all you ll need to do is add right pixels to the correct places so it looks like chibiterasu.

My thread didn't get a lot of attention until the weekend when someone bumped it. Shortly after that I was looking through your neko retextures for my daughter and Amaterasu was sitting at the bottom. Dibjib posted directly on this thread about 2 days after that. I didn't think anyone was going to work on it due to the complexity of the sprite work. Great work to the both of you.
I think his version is better for people looking for a normal sized dog. Just in case people haven't realized it yet by the amount of pixels on mine, but it's a gigantic dog.

I think I might have to go to the more pets code/mod and put both Ammys (dibjib's is Chibiterasu anyway! ^_^) and Red XIII on my farm... maybe for next playthrough though since on my current save it would be horribly crowded for 3 pets.
Use the Okami sprite in place of rabbits! Be awesome! Seeing that run into a bush and vanish when out foraging... =w= That'd be kinda cute.
