*He vainly attempts to avoid being soaked* "Freaking wonderful!" *After half-assedly wringing out his coat, he turns to the slab of bacon* "Can't be worse than what they did to me in Iris, why the hell not?" *he attempts to move the massive foil-wrapped slab, realizes it's weight, and sits on the ground irritably* "Fine I'll simply eat here. If that whaleorcafishatee comes back, there'll be TWO giant slabs of meat."

 

Somewhere a conversation is taking place

" Finally, Its nearly done! "

A gunshot can be heard


" No one will stand in my way... "

 

Suci flops on the ground, seemingly uncaring that her clothes are also soaked. "Ugh... Xenon, I'm hungry. Is there really a danger of something bad happening if I eat that food?" She then has a moment of realization. "Heeeey! If that big thing comes back, I could shoot it, couldn't I? It's not like they'd mess with that, right?"

By now, you can barely see anything. The only light is Xenon and Sucrose, and the slightly glowing sea

 

Those who are still out side notice large fluorescent bubbles on the surface of the water... The manatee may be back.....

 

*Begins quickly scarfing down the unwrapped bacon, none for that damn fish thing* "Get -nom- ready to -gulp- blast that thing!"

 

The manatee jumps out of the water...better shoot fast

 

Sucrose grabs her rifle and shoots a bit hurriedly, not wanting to be too slow.

 

It nails the manatee in the head, killing it instantly. It washes up onto the beach

 

*He gives the Novakid equivalent to a ": D" and continues nomming the bacon, which he was glad to see did not taste funny*

 

The sun begins to rise...How long were you out there?

 

Placing the now empty bottle on a nearby table, Jackdaw pulled out the holopad to check its database for information on this planet's day-night cycle. "Either I've blacked out, or there's more to this."

 

It says the day night cycle is 17 hours day and 8 hours night..... Something is wrong here...very wrong

 

The group sees Earnest walking up to them

Earnest stops mid sentence noticing the dead manatee

" Ummm..... "

He raises his metallic index finger before lowering it and running his hand through his hair

 

*He looks at the rising light* "What in the sweet love of the Heliocentric theory is this now?"

 

Pulling the holdout pistol and butterfly knife out of his bag before stuffing them into his pockets, Jackdaw creaked his door open slightly. "What is it?"

 

Jackdaw opens the door to nothing, This is just straight up "odd"

 

Sucrose begins to head toward the dead manatee, but stops short when she sees Earnest approaching. "...Oh... was I not supposed to shoot this thing?"

 

" N..no its fine.. They are sort of a pest anyway! "

Earnest begins to laugh a bit

You hear a beep, Earnest pulls a phone out of his suit

" Really but I just... Well I must go, See you soon! "

He quickly walks away, before breaking into a run
