Closed Can't put the game in full screen or load it (Mac)

I have been a big fan of starbound, and ever since one of the more recent updates, if I try to put the game in full screen or even just load it as is, the game will either, freeze, crash, or remain in a loading screen for about an hour (I didn't test longer then that because that may be silly). From other threads I have seen, it does not appear to be a common problem to happen.
