Bug/Issue Can't Get Rid of Child

I wanted to get a fresh start romantically in the game without having to start over. I have a pretty profitable farm going. So I divorced my husband (Sebastian), wiped his memory, but when it came to getting rid of the kids, after I paid up with my prismatic shard, though I got the message that both children were gone, the older of the two remained in my house. I tried a second time with a second shard and again little Emma turned to a bird and flew away yet she is still running around my house and appears on my heart list as well.

Any way to get rid of her or will the ghost of my first marriage forever haunt my farmhouse?
