Closed Can pre-orders be bought after the beta is released?

The title says it all. I ask mainly because if I find it fantastic I'd buy it for my friends. Thanks!

Heya, far known when beta starts it will be available as Early Access, it may be also only limited to such on steam (at the start), it's something not yet decided. I heard months ago the Pre-Orders end once Beta Starts, but i'm unsure if now they want to keep with the shop page open with all the tiers.

Once Beta starts you are already buying instant access to the game, so that's why.

On most games, pre-order is available right up till game release. Haven't heard anything on how Starbound will do it though.
