Can’t launch Steam version!

    My game updated with the multiplayer update shortly after its release, and since then, I can no longer launch. It acts like it launches from the Steam client, and even says I’m playing it for 3-5 seconds, but then immediately crashes. No windows launch, I only see this message in Steam. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling from not Steam AND my PC, verifying the game files/cache, and the headphone fix. Does anyone know how I can get my game to work? I’d love to play on PC, again!

      I have this issue too. There is an error message in the Windows event log, but it is quite vague:

      System.IO.FileNotFoundException
      at StardewValley.Program.Main(System.String[])
