its not ruined its just not released. theyre still working on it, and im fairly certain that theyll be finishing it as well.
theres alot of new things coming together that im liking, and i think i may actually hold off til starbound completely releases.

 

I get the feeling that the Starbound now and the Starbound at release will feel radically different.

 

I think there's at least 2-3 years that Starbound will be as good as how we imagine
