Black Screen when game is run (Sound working)

Running the mac_linux_test through steam.

Game loads up the window (in windowed mode) but presents a blank screen, there are bird sounds in the background though so nothing is being drawn to the window I guess.

Yep. I have this issue as well.

Steam overlay is working.

I get the same messages on the terminal as well

 

This is my issue now, as of build ID 1246815.

Specs:

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo (2 Ghz, 2 cores, 64 bit)
Graphics card: Mobile Intel® GM45 Express Chipset (Integrated)
RAM: 4 GB
Platform: Steam, Linux (Ubuntu 14.04 LTS)

 

Some kind soul on Reddit provided me with a fix that worked for both him and me. It involved replacing the libsdl libraries from stardew valley with another version (from amnesia the dark descent). The link he provided for the libraries if you don't have Amnesia is https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/79134316/Amnesia Test Libs.zip

It's as simple as going to stardew valley in your steam folder and replacing the files libsdl2.0 with the ones provided

 

This should befixed in the latest beta build. Give it a try.
