I'm a U.S. person, and I don't mind. If I'd wanted to, I could have bought a ticket and flown out for the show. Not really worth it for me though, especially since when I do get the game it'll be a full working version without a line of people behind my computer urging me to finish so they can get a few minutes.

If they put it out for download, there's way too much chance someone would hack it for their own purposes, and it's unreasonable to expect a company their size to set up demo booths all around the world.

 

They can't "Phil Fish" yet, he released his game (FEZ) before he said Adios to the internet and gaming if I am understanding what you mean by that.

Edit: Also there is a lot more to that but I do not wish to get into it due to Fish's controversial status.

I do like a game completed and all, but im starting to get worried about this Beta:

well, once starbound Beta comes out, im dropping terraria, and going strait to the beta! I mean, terraria is great and all. But if any starbound fan saw that the Beta is out, i would say that they would stop what ever they are playing, and download it! Then pull an all nighter.
