That is a good idea only 2 problems. Some people are so opposed to MLP they get aggressive or hateful. (not that I care really, if you don't like something that's your issue as long as isn't hurting you chill. lol) and 2 the more mods a program/server runs the more likely something will conflict with each other and or slow the server/program down after a while. I personally LOVE your idea though.

You know, I am neither a brony nor do I watch MLP, it doesn't seem to be my thing, and many of the people around me would oppose it, dislike it, judge it.

But those people who ignorantly judge and hate things, and don't bother to try to know more about it... that worthless human beings can kiss my ass.

As for the performance issues, hm that could indeed be an obstacle, but I'm willing to pay for a server that can easily take it.
