RELEASED Avali Race Mod, The second thread!

1-Put all files on: ...\mods\avali\ships\avali
2-Change the treasure pool to the avali one
3-Load game

I did that a whiiiiiiiile ago and it worked... <_<

 

That seems like it *should* work, what's the error log say, maybe you go a typo in there. Don't forget to make sure the file names match universe_server.config

That doesn't sound like a log error report but a client error report. You need to attach starbound.log from your starbound folder (rename it to .txt)

 

Yeah... I just wrote what appered on the screen... Anyway, it's a mod thinkg(Not from the ship), did you realese a update for the "unstable update" I might be using one... <_<

No it's based on stable. And I'm positive that wouldn't be your problem anyway it works fine on unstable last check, I'm pretty sure you simply made a typo in your configuration.

 

BTW I have !5! starbound.log files! :< Which ones do you need?

 

The one that is just "starbound.log" without any other frills.

 

I can confirm this as I tried to dye mine teal last night and it reverted to default colors instead.

 

And as was mentioned in the patch notes at the time, has not been updated to the new system as of the current patch. (Because, you know, this isn't like a beta, in-development version of the mod )

 

Well, it's never really all that upsetting when something like that crops up. The primary response is usually "Oh. Look at that. I guess that doesn't work yet. *resume decorating*" ;p

plucked avali is in fact magnitudes more upsetting D=

 

I cannot put the things written inside the starbound.log because it's so big it crashes my internet... <_<

 

For the record, Starbound creates 5 backup files for the previous five instances of your ship and '.log'.

Dang it that was going to be next question. . Time to start thinking again. Next time I'll think if something humans don't even know exist. Something completely unrelated/new to humans since... We can only know and ask about what we've experienced.

EDIT: Nope still says the error, I created another file with the info(a .txt file) and still can't upload it, I renamed the file to starbound.txt, but nothing it doesn't appear as an option. Soooo yah, another thing\bug that's not going to be solved....*Facepalms and leaves*
