She had a guess that the race of savage vegetables had nothing to do with any of this construction at all.

There, in the heart of the stone ship, she found a tiny, metal sphere sitting on a pedestal. She walked up, and carefully touched it.

Thankfully, it was not rigged to explode. From there Catotter grasped, then picked it up.

It was a perfect sphere, save for three lines that cut it into eight pieces, each piece decorated with tiny lines that did not match up between them. A puzzle.

Catotter had a tiny policy: find out what it does right there and then. Some of these things may be too dangerous. From a museum it eventually it could find itself in the wrong hands, and she would be responsible.

Plus most rooms were built to test out said device anyways. Catotter spent a few seconds rotating the parts into place.

Instantaneously the room glowed this way and that. Various blobs of light hung throughout the air, centered on the sphere. She recognized the blob pattern from her navigation data.

Ancient Star Map. Well then. A reversed turn here and it was clipped onto her belt.

Now there were several rooms of pissed-off Florans to go back through. Never a boring job, indeed.

You know it's kind of funny, technically this thread's canon should be the Starbound universe, but then I bring my very own universe with my characters and just fuck up the entire canon for no good reason
