Smallpaw too the mirror, and held it in his hand. Before looking into it, he shifted into an upright position. He took a deep breath, bracing himself, before holding the mirror up to his face. He really did look nothing like himself now. If he had seen what his face was now, and someone told him that was him, Smallpaw wouldn't believe it.
But here he was. No longer "himself", at least not enough to be recognized. Smallpaw lowered the mirror, and let out a sigh. "Never expected it to...well, for it to be this drastic..." He shook his head slowly. "I should have never gotten curious...never went there and looked at that platform..."
