That's right, it's time for another edition of that famous soap opera, As Stardew Valley Turns!

Today we will see exactly what Caroline is thinking of her friends during the aerobic exercise, as she has dropped possible hints that she likes them, that way, even though the others seem unaware that she swings this way! We'll also discuss what exactly it is that Pierre is wanting desperately to hide from his wife, but NOT some farmer that he recently met. Is it drugs, porn, chocolate, or...maybe even a secret membership to his rival, Joja?? We'll also look into the relationship between Sebastian, Maru, and Demetrius, and maybe even look at the mysteriousness that is Jas! All this, and more, you won't want to miss a single moment!

(Since there's a lot of things that are open to interpretation, why not go make it into a soap opera and have fun with it?)

Jas is secretly Shane’s daughter but Jas isn’t allowed to know due to a complex Child Protection Services/Family Court order. So they all just refer to her as Marnie’s niece.

Abby is actually a half-dragon, since her biological father Rasmodius is a dragon hiding in human form as to not terrify the locals. She eats gemstones in secret, which is why she's training with a sword to brave the mines so she can find more of them. Watch her trying to cope with not only transitioning into the adult world but also desperately trying to find someone to confide in about her magical secrets. Watch as the normal headbutting between a daughter and mother takes on a whole new level as Caroline isn't so much concerned with Abby conforming to norms as trying to make sure her daughter seems as normal as the rest of the village, worrying how Abbys life would be if the truth came out.
As if that wasn't enough, Abby is also struggling to understand her own feelings towards her two closest friends and have recently begun secretly reading about something called Polygamy online. . .

I may have occasionally thought about this. . . *Whistles*

Well that explain why, when I give her gems, she always asks me "How did you know I was hungry?" :)

Today we discuss the issue of no spamming allowed! It seems dear Leah sent 15 letters in a day to her new farmer friend, but he says that he only received the very first letter and didn't get the rest! Did the farmer lie about not receiving the rest? Did Lewis secretly keep the rest, wanting to see how kids these days write love letters and was shocked and blushed at how graphic the language was? Why does the young farmer not have email at his new digs, but Abby and Haley both do, is this farmer still living in the 80s?? (Come to think of it, he doesn't have a cell phone either...)

(I'm assuming Lewis is the guy in charge of mail)

Today we discuss those quests that never die!

It seems that local fisherman Willy asked a new farmer for a Squid as a quest item. It took a few years for the farmer to actually catch a squid, but when he did, he dutifully gave the quest he was given 3 years ago to Willy! Will Willy remember that 3 years ago he gave the farmer a challenge? Will Pam wonder why it took over a year for the farmer to give her a pale ale when she can get it nightly at the saloon? Why do the good people of Pelican Town have all these strange requests of a new farmer? Why did Gus ask the farmer to get an albacore and not Willy, who's a fisherman and would make far more sense?

(Hey, if anybody wants to add to these things, go ahead! I'm just poking fun at the more bizarre things I've found, I'm sure others would have some ideas that would fit into a soap opera!)

Next: the Crop Fairy is flying around drunk after a few pints at the Saloon. Wandering into the farm, she'll slow down or speed the growth of a few plants and ruin the farmer's plan for that season! Thanks, Crop Fairy.

Today, the strangeness of gift giving!

It seems that our famer friend has been giving gifts to everyone, and no one bats an eye. The second he and Maru became an item though, Maru was inflamed when she found out that the farmer gave a gift to her best friend Penny! When told that he's been doing that well before they were an item, sometimes giving a gift to Penny with Maru watching, Maru said that was "before I knew how you felt". Is Maru really just worried that the farmer will dump her? Should the farmer go after someone new and exciting like Haley or Leah - or would they act the same way as well? Find out...in As Stardew Valley turns!

Both Haley and Emily were taught that a girl never ever ever makes the first move, that asking a guy out on a date is tantamount to social and emotional suicide. But...Emily can't help noticing that Clint seems to have feelings for her. He gazes at her like she's a big plump blueberry, and he's a bear dying of hunger. He never says anything except "Thank you" when she hands him a beer; he doesn't even pass her a note along with his substantial tip, but he stares all the time. Emily is pretty sure that if she asked him out, he'd accept, but if Haley found out, Emily would never hear the end of it. What will she do? Tune in tomorrow at As Stardew Valley turns!

Why does Shane drink so much? Could it be because one night he accepted an offer to go into Linus' tent? What really went on inside that canvas shelter?

My guess on Shane's drinking habit is that he HATES his job at Joja but feels totally trapped and is using the drinking as a coping mechanism. Don't agree with it myself but I know about having a job you absolutely hate and using something to cope with it (old job I had, there would be a lot of "finished with work, go home and do frustration game because I was so fed up with the work)

However, this does present another story...

Today we talk to Gus, the owner of the Saloon and who his best customers are. He mentioned Pam, Clint, and Shane as his best customers, although several members of Pelican town will visit on certain days and he's thrilled to see everyone that walks through the doors. When asked about those three, he said he thinks Shane is drinking to cope, and he's positive that Clint is because of the mad crush on Emily, who appears rather oblivious to the crush. Pam seems to be a "down on her luck" gal that turns to drink to cope as well. He contemplated telling Lewis "YO EVERYONE KNOWS ABOUT YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH MARNIE" but decided against it in case Lewis would shut him down. Tomorrow we look at the strange relationship between Sebastian, Sam, and Abigail, and whether there is any real truth to the rumors that Jodi is secretly hoping that Kent move out of her life because he clearly hasn't been around the kids much! (Based on a conversation with Kent, when he tells the Farmer that's been there for a year "you know the kids better than I do") Tune in tomorrow with As Stardew Valley Turns!!!

It's been long enough, I think...

Today on As Stardew Valley Turns, we discuss a popular rumor that both Caroline and Abigail are both dragons. Abby has been rumored that she's at least part dragon due to her unusual eating habits, but there is question if Caroline might be a dragon as well. This brings up all sorts of questions, what happens when Pierre and Caroline argue, does Caroline show her dragon side? Is Pierre afraid that he's going to get burned...literally? Is Pierre so clueless about his wife and daughter as to not know they have dragon blood in them? Find out more, in As Stardew Valley Turns!!!

Might explain Pierre's money-fixated mind. Needing to feed both your wife and daughter with gold and diamonds three times a day isn't cheap!

But she must be a devil in the sack, so there is that.

Pierre goes to the new hiding place for his stash. He takes out the box and slowly pulls out the photos and papers. He remembers paying the PI to follow Caroline because he was worried she was having an affair. The photos show Caroline and Rasmodius in a intense embrace. A tear rolls down Pierre's cheek as he see the photo of little baby Abigail with bright purple hair, he knows the truth but pretends not to because it's Caroline's family money that keep his business floating. If Caroline found this she would know that he knows the truth and may leave him for Rasmodius. Pierre quickly hides the stash and says to himself "I will die before I let her find out the truth."

Today we discuss an odd happening in the Ranch! Shane heard some weird cackling as he went home late night, and dismissed it as being "too smashed", but when he went to get the eggs for the day, there was this weird black egg. Shane recognized it as a void egg and was hooping and hollering and generally very excited, because it provided proof that the witch he's heard rumblings about is real, and he could sell the void egg for a pretty penny! When asked about this, Shane commented that the witch was probably trying to curse them - you know how witches like to throw curses around - but Shane felt blessed by the event. Shane then wondered if the mysterious Crop Fairy he's heard about is real as well, and went to his neighbor the farmer to find out details! What will happen next?? Find out, in As Stardew Valley turns!!

Shane and the farmer talked about all the weird happenings around the farm. The strange purple boulder that crashed in the night and the farmer told Shane she had seen the Crop Fairy who was the most beautiful thing she'd ever seen. Shane was fascinated and told her about his work on raising blue chickens, which the farmer was suitably impressed with. Over the next days and weeks they talked and laughed and for the first time that he could remember Shane was happy. His happiness turned to joy on the day the farmer gave him the mermaid's pendant. Together they will have the greatest farm around and Shane has not had a drink in nearly a season. Happy days for Shane from now on.

A comment from another thread was just too good to pass up...

Today we talk to Emily and Haley, regarding Emily's supposed weird eating habits! Emily apparently eats grass, or at least Haley thinks so. It's possible that Emily is feeding a bird that she cares for, but Emily didn't deny the "Emily is eating grass again" comment from her sister. Emily and Haley have a very odd relationship for sisters in that Emily supports Haley and Haley seems totally weirded out by her sister. Haley occasionally mutters "what happened to my real sister?" but everyone else seems to love the Emily that's here...is Haley simply jealous that her bizarre sister is more popular than she is? Is Emily really a shapechanging alien? *Abby approves this message"

Abby, you aren't supposed to be interrupting the story...
Abigail: Yeah, but I stopped by to read the latest soap opera stuff and really like the idea that Emily's an alien! I mean, since it's rumored that there's dragons that take on human form, an alien shouldn't be too farfetched, right?

Uh, yeah...anyway, what's the real story behind Emily's odd eating happens? Find out...in As Stardew Valley Turns!!

Something I was thinking about, and decided it was worth adding here!

Today we discuss the health-reviving spa, and something that may have been an oversight. As is proper, men and women go to different rooms to change into clothes needed to relax in the spa - generally that would just be a towel and nothing else. However, there's no different areas in the spa-waters, meaning that after going to different areas to change, they both go to the same area to relax and enjoy the waters. Is this *the spa is unisex, even though you change in different rooms"? Was there only being one area to enjoy the spa an oversight by the makers of the spa, or was this intentional? Talking with Alex and Haley they seemed happy with the arrangement, but older people, or those with less-than-perfect bodies, seemed upset or embarrassed by it. What's the real story behind the spa? Find out... in As Stardew Valley Turns!!!

(Remember, if anyone wants to add something to this, feel free!)

Today we look a bizarre happening at the local farm. Apparently a meteor fell on the farmer's land and when he tried to break it open, his steel pickax didn't do anything at all. Curious how a meteorite could be so strong as to ignore steel, he went to Clint's Blacksmith to see if Clint could assist him. Upon being told the farmer would need a gold pickax to break it, the farmer became confused. A sturdy steel pickax wouldn't work but a weaker gold pickax would?? Told that "gold is stronger than steel" the farmer muttered about how maybe Clint's spent a little too much time at the saloon and stormed out. Is the gold pickax really stronger than a sturdy steel one? Was Clint just hoping the farmer would shell out the $10,000 needed so Clint could upgrade his forge? What's in the meteorite anyway? Find out... in As Stardew Valley Turns!!!
