For those who are interested, there hasn't been any progress that I can see as far as random Hylotl encounters go. Desert planets should have a chance of having an ocean as a mini-biome now (like the tar 'biome' and bones 'biome'). But I haven't seen one yet.
Anyway,

For you guys who are interested in the car, it's not in any pool yet. Just like the Jem guitar, laser mining tool, fishaxe, superfishaxe, and tiy's clothes (and possibly other items) it's been intentionally left out. Unlike the other items, there's a good chance it's buggy or unfinished and that could be why it wasn't included. I dunno though, as I haven't bothered to "spawn" one and try it. If you're that interested you may also have to edit the lua file for the tech.

Go left and there will be a glitch castle. I found a uncommon assault rifle and a magic scroll along with a wizard's robe top. If you go even more left there's a few apex structures with chests. That's all I've explored so far, careful if you keep going left there's a miniboss.

EDIT: On the arid planet in the same section as the tundra there's a lead guitar on the left in an avian village. If you keep going left there's a rocket launcher in a chest and then another legendary rocket launcher in a chest further left

@Genzo I used those coords (X sector) and got 2 sets of wings from the first 4 of those strange creatures killed, going to toward the left. Drop rate is high.

I don't know if anyone else went here, but about half a screen to the left from the anchor, in a shallow cave, was a tech chest. I got Rocket Jump, whoopieee!!!!!

 

About 8 killed, 0 wings :'(

 

This planet made me happy. So, so, soooo much celerium. Now I can make impervium in peace.
