Are acrids supposed to be able to maul you to death? What is actually happening, is I'll get swarmed by them, they'll tick down my hp just the slightest bit at a time...then suddenly, my hp will drop to like, 1. Are they supposed to do that, or is it a bugged bug?
You mean the poison debuffs? A cleric can clear it from what ive seen. Edit- But yes. It does leave you at 1, it wont kill you but any other source of damage will including burns. I feel like its OP but the game is already easy imo. Just need some teamwork to counter the risk.
I think my problem in that, is that I play alone, mostly due to the fact I could be pulled away any minute for cuddles. Not kidding you there either. If I wasn't playing a warrior, I'd try to just take em out from a distance.
If your playing a warrior i found that 1 point in power slash very useful to break up a mob. Also it can be used to very very slowly kill and kite a mob. 1v1 with Acrids block, i don't remember the DoT/debuff being very bad.
