Bug/Issue accidentally hit escape instead of choosing Foraging perk

So, this one is kind of on me: I was rocking my 6 weeek old daughter to sleep and playing Stardew Valley one handed. Just as the perk/specialisation window for reaching foraging 5 popped up she started crying, so I hit escape to pause the game... and the window just vanished.

Now in my skills tab it shows that I'm level 5 Foraging, Fishing and Mining, and when I mouse over Fishing and Mining it shows which perk I've selected... but doesn't show anything for Foraging.

Does anyone know if it'll let me select my perk at level 6? Or if not, is it going to cause a crash when I hit level 10?

Has anyone else has this happen? Are there any console commands to add a perk? Or can I edit my save file (safely)?
