    I love this feature, and I'm all for kitties piloting things, but I feel stumbling upon a planet wherein the fauna just happened to evolve to be piloted by cats would break my immersion.

    But that's easy to explain. They didn't naturally evolve there. The kitties arrived from another planet. Maybe the creature-mech-things they pilot/drive are genetically engineered or something like that!
    ... Or some other similar explanation. My point is that it doesn't have to break anyone's immersion. :catface2:
