Well, no post for today...again.

 

So essentially the fossil digging game is based on the the one from Pokemon? Where you could dig things up in the underground tunnel? But more refined in the tool variety.

 

While they're adding hunger back they should make you eat a balanced diet and get plenty of fluids too. Can't just chow down on slabs of roast meat all day in real life, doesn't make sense we should go back to doing that in starbound right?

 

It's like the excavation minigame from pokemon diamond and pearl

 

Survival mode/features. Consider me greatly interested.

 

Needs a vegi status bar, a grain bar, a meats bar, a dairy bar, h2o bar. Cleanliness meter. Should also have a O2 bar and press space to breath when walking around. Oh and a blinking bar, if you don't blink enough the screen will get blurry as your eyes dry out and cause damage over time. Need to build outhouses as well. All those sanitary concerns when your waste bar fills up too much.

 

There is 2 Mazebound64 arcade machines in the game there is a useless one and, strangely a one that looks the same but it plays the fossil minigame. And it's in stable right now

I thought the old survival system was imperfect, but without it, the game felt like it was still missing something. Looking forward to what you try to do with it.

 

who knows, maybe they'll add a fear meter for when you spend too much time in the dark without light, and when the meter fills, you go faster, your controls get reversed, and you start seeing things in the dark like phantoms.[DOUBLEPOST=1452145420][/DOUBLEPOST]or a sleep meter that needs to be recharged after a day has past, if its empty your health gets cut in half, your speed and jump height are reduced, and buff don't last longer, but if you do sleep, you get well rested with a bonus to speed, health, and jump height for a decent duration of time,

About the fear meter , you are talking about "sanity"? Like amnesia? it would be cool.

 

Don't forget about Headshots & Backstabbing too. *Imagines how awesome it'd be to land a Headshot on a enemy Sniper from outside the Sniper's Range with a Rocket Launcher!*

 

Nah, should be able to get mauled a bit before your blood bar empties too much.

 

It depends : Floranss should be carnivorous and Hylotl vegetarian. Also a race related dish should be in the ship locker to begin with. Fir hunger you know. Using the energy bar mechanic reversed and slowed (I already told about that didn't I ?) the beginning could be easy. Plus you could calculate what you need, buff or satiety, and compose your special dinner in all occasions.
