And there I was thinking *hey they started making menus and other not-so-important things maybe we'll get beta at the end of this month* but of course... I'm gonna go now and cry in the corner

Uh, that's not Tiy, that's Mollygos. These aren't useless updates, they're updates telling you that vital parts of the game aren't finished yet. In this update alone, Molly said that crafting recipes and food weren't even obtainable until today. Betas aren't like minecraft, betas are like PAYDAY2. Fully functional with bugs the developers MISSED not left in.

if daily updates are continuing after Insomnia, we can either assume

a) Beta is still nowhere near.
b) They're going to keep doing dailies post-beta.

Honestly, the people asking or hoping for beta are making absolutely no sense and becoming annoying.

Since this is not a test driven development (oh believe me, you would not want to be a part of the testing crew in that case anyway)...the testing can begin when developers enter in a state: "well i kind of don't have anything important to do".
Such state is definitely not now, and not gonna be in effect for the forthcoming month or 2 or 3 or infinite as deemed by dev team.

I am 100% sure that all effort is currently focused on tweaking the game so that the "demo presentation" for the insomnia event goes smoothly as knife through butter (for god damn obvious reasons).
Nothing is more embarrassing than a critical bug during a live demo presentation.

Beta :*( where are you?

 

There will be a beta.

The devs don't need our help in a beta to find bugs that they can find themselves. The point of a beta is finding bugs that the devs miss. Rest assured, there will be plenty of bugs left when the beta arrives.

 

Thanks Molly, I am not sure why, but your updates are always worth looking at...

And that gear in the gif kind of looks like Star Wars Rebel Hott wear?!?! or am I just seeing what I want to see...
