No, you were caught in a landslide, you can't escape from reality.

 

I really, really want to see "never-stopping-train" moving around a whole planet and maybe single cart disconnecting and reconnecting from the end of that moving train. This would be amazing!

 

Awesome, does it come with boosters to change the speed of the platform? Sometimes you want a fast platform but sometimes you just want a slow-motion platform. Hahaha.

I would love to see cargo (maybe a chest in a platform) on rails, and mobs riding the rails (maybe they just fall in a platform and stands still).

Other than that, interactions with the platform/hook would be nice as well, jumping with/without a platform (like minecarting in DKC, some stages you jump with your minecart while in others you only jump off the minecart to other) and jumping with the hook.

Spacial train-like platforms (one attached to the other that many players can ride in each section) is also a good idea.

 

I would love this, too. though that will involve fixing other things won't it?

I look forward to you adding some elevators at last to some of your quests. Some missions has areas that would make more sense with elevators than platforms.

 

Hopefully this means that someone will create liquid and item pipes, as well as maybe multi tile stations like in some minecraft mods(say, railcraft). that would be amazing.

All that is missing here is the Pulley Platforms, like the ones in Super Mario Bros, and the game will be almost complete.

well you know what this calls for? AUTOMATION! a tunnel bore/auto track placer would be awesome for making huge rail networks.

 

That is true, that it would be the fun way with a million delays, but with what volchonok says, it would be easier. I wouldn't like setting up all those contraptions just to get a few chests coming to me. But still, it would be nice having a wired up chest delivery system.

 

How to make them I know not, but they're already in Nightly.
