Yeah I heard that .hack was also based in an MMO where people can't log out. Another one that I heard was similar is "accel world", written by the same person as SAO's.

accel world is awesome especially since the hero isn't some super badass guy but just a runt who gets picked on and then becomes a badass and if you haven't watched dothack then my god there is something wrong with you.
