Have you checked your log? It's in your Starbound folder, in storage. There are 6 logs, the top one without a number is the one you need to look into. You can open it in notepad.

What am I looking for in the log? Basically, what I did was put the image file of the pants in the sktest-gear4 file and replace the maleFrames pants.png with the filename.png. I also replaced the InventoryIcon with icons.png:filename.

Try looking for the word error to see what pops up.

Did you change the name of the pants image? Keep it to the same name just to be safe.

I got it to work! I was changing the file names and stuff in the wrong folder. Sorry for the stupidity haha!
