    I don't mean to be greedy, but what happened to the "daily updates" that i was expecting? i just wan't it to be cleared up to me, did i misread it?

    I've seen a particular poster in the forums who has made amazing creature designs and one of them is this terrific aquatic creature, and this makes me hopeful for some cool things to come.

    + I'm hoping to be able to tame some of these creatures for combat/utility for something about say the flying creature on the left makes me want to have a whole hoard of them to come on screen and attack my enemies...

    neither do i, it makes me wonder why they arnt doing that. what we see here is just more peices for current generator to work with. current generator works, but is quite boring. AI itself needs work. this really just adds even more "samey" monsters to the mix.

    i think you misunderstand him. what i got from his post is "new parts for the generator does not address the core problems with monsters".

    im not seeing that. big bird - copy biped code, point to big bird parts, use normal bird ai. big fish - copy fish code and ai, point to big fish parts.

    One can assume these creatures have the chance of being aggressive, yes?
    If that's the case, then I think we can safely assume there will be at the very least, 1 new AI.

    The AI for aggressive sea creatures.

    copy bird code, add restriction for staying in liquid, as per fish code.

    But, if you drain the liquid, will it flop about, swim as if it was still in water or possibly bug out and "float" across the screen like some of the current fish do? Or all of these... just bigger, and angrier?
