Where are the saved data of my characters?

I need help because I want to make a Backup of the game and I don't know if my saved data will be kept
Where are these data?

This is not a bug, as the prefix suggests

they are located in <your starbound folder>/storage/player and <your starbound folder>/storage/universe. BOTH of these are for saved data, the player directory for the player and respective ship worlds, and the universe directory for all other worlds. I'm not sure if pre-defined worlds are included, like mission worlds or the outpost, but those won't change as long as these two folders are kept
