I use the normal 2x, (I think that's it) mainly cause i didn't know that there were others until a little while ago.

Well this has been working better than expected:

This is a screenshot with x1
Finding Derrick will certainly be easier![DOUBLEPOST=1412008102][/DOUBLEPOST]Woah, this one is way crazier:
This is how x0.5 looks like!

When I'm exploring, 2x zoom is good, crafting - 3x zoom is better.

  4. x1..... It will always be x1.

  5. BlueMountain

    BlueMountain Void-Bound Voyager

I like my setting at 3x. 4x is too close and 2x is too far away.

    LadenSwallow Void-Bound Voyager

With 1 monitor at 1920*1080, I like 1.5 scale for combat and exploring, 2 for building (which I don't do much of particularly - so it stays at 1.5). Scale 1 is a bit too zoomed out for gunplay in my opinion, 1.5 is just about close enough to be able to snipe opponents with a reasonable degree of accuracy, whilst still offering improved field of view.

  7. R_C_A^

    R_C_A^ Pangalactic Porcupine

i like the furthest zoom, however my PC cant handle it so i have to use the middle one :/

    I've tried x1 and x0.5 zoom.
x0.5 is great to explore a planet ! I used it to search an underground place in a little planet. But my computer has difficulties to handle it X)
And it makes the blink tech even more efficient :p
Maybe x0.1 zoom is a way to screen a whole tiny planet. (And to make the game crash ?)

Then it's shocking to return to x2 zoom !
I should try x1.5 zoom like said LadenSwallow.

I'm going to attempt using x0.1 now, wish me luck.

I'm surprised my computer could rhandle that, that's what x0.1 looks like:

The heck am I looking at?? And when you have it zoomed out like that, the targeted blink become more effective? And can you see the mobs spawning/despawning around you position?

Considering the game froze when I tried to leave the ship, I don't know, but when I was testing out x1 and x0.5 it did become more effective, so I assume it would be the same with x0.1.

    Awesome
I will do the same ! If I do not post back, consider my computer died.

Why is there 3 ships ? You tried to look up and down ?

It's because I'm using the Glitch Layered Shuttle mod, it's basically a ship with multiple rooms, the mod maker obviously doesn't expect me to play the game on x1 or lower so it's not supposed to look like this.

    Okay!
    Interesting mod =p

    I've done it :
Every 2~3 secondes, the game freezed, the screen turned black then came back, and the music changed. I had between 0 and 1 FPS
I tried it with a planet with lit up underground but it crashed X)

So I tried it again, with x0.2 zoom :
    It's pretty fun.
The game in x0.2 zoom is still a little playable (1~2 FPS).

1 or 2 FPS? Yeah. Totally playable. *sarcasm overload* :p sorry if I'm sounding rude
Seriously though how can you run this? My PC could only handle the ship.
