What are your favourite Sci-fi melee weapons?

I am definitely thinking Laser Katana, yes...

Also Scythes in some way, shape, or form. Always Scythes... Maybe Laser Scythes? Now that would be cool...

I'm pretty sure that katana are curved, not straight, but yeah, I agree with you. Laser Katanas sound pretty damn awesome.

Hey Tiy! Watch this, & consider sticking this kinda Weapon in-game!

 

A cool melee weapon I'm thinking of is one that's in basically all of the Ratchet and Clank games. Most of the weapons from those are the same except different models, but essentially there was a plasma whip but that's not what I'm thinking, it was a pair of boxing gloves that throw the wearer at the target, so you become a projectile, seemed cool, probably not possible at all, but who cares? I also remember a passive weapon in one of them that was a short range zapper that made your backpack shock people who got close.

 

Personal favorites Beowulf from DMC3 and Gilgamesh from DMC4, otherwise any weapon from the series (DMC)

 

we need a crowbar....and probably a stun stick.

 

I first read that as 'Pun Stick' and was like: "We're going to have a stick that when you hit people makes puns."
This would be a funny joke item.
