I'm away from my computer right now, so I don't have the programs I use for pixel-arting. I submitted an app made one so that we wouldn't have a "No submitted art" were this week is. Basicly just a reminder

 

If I had the time I would start something so big that would take me a week to finish.

 

I'm not motivated much anymore...

 

Just noticed, why was I never added to the leaderboard?

I found my original Game Boy and admired the art for awhile in some retro games (after scrounging up 4 AA batteries). This week try to make some art using the 4 shades that an original Game Boy had to work with, or make some art inspired by a classic game boy title.

I won one (the current banner) and if memory serves tied another one with Lord Octopus, although he graciously allowed me to pick the next theme for that round.

EDIT: And I'm loving this theme. I've done a ton of work in the 4 default colors of the GB.

I've decided to pick the 3rd palette, it's much easier on the eyes than the 1st.

the 4 color palette is pretty cool, even if you're limited, i like the challange behind it

I'm actually getting the hang of this! This is my first image that uses dithering, forged by the lack of colors to choose from. It has the same structure as the Black and White Scale I posted before.

 

Guise... what have I done wrong? I've received no votes...
Tell me, why does my entry not appeal to anyone? I need your feedback! Make it as harsh as you want, because there must be something wrong I can't see and I'd like to avoid it in the future.
