Pixel Weekly Pixel-Off

The theme, it is intriguing. Very much so.

 

I think the theme is cool, but I have a feeling there will be too many massive.....................

eyes staring back at me. Probably a lot of boobs as well!

 

I heard "boobs" - I'm in...
though...don't count mine as an entry
since my theme ideas don't inspire

also I really like the slime one...
and the spider but idk why

 

They inspired me.

Here is the final polished version. I doubt I can do anything else here as I am tired of it.

I feel a bit uncomfortable about this challenge as I am not familiar with structure of human body. Sketching faces and hands is a pain.
So I tried my best to draw all those hard things altogether.

Didn't dither 'cause damn I hate dithering. I wish there was dithering tool in mspaint.
This is my 10th pixel-work so far so I beg you guys - please tell me what's wrong with it.
Left hand is ugly and I don't know how to fix it. :(

I'm going to tell you what a wise man over at pixel joint once told me. You've got 4 different color ramps for your different parts of the image. While this isn't wrong, the next step is to integrate! Switch up your colors a bit so they can branch off each other and flow together. Color is a struggle for all pixel artists no matter how good they are, so it's good to practice. If you don't like how the switched up colors look, don't submit it. It just very often creates a sense of unity and makes the image flow.

 

thanks. I tried many colors - played with palette for half an hour - the current one was the best I found.

Alrighty decided to shy away from doing huge pieces and did a simple little ~250x250 piece.

Didn't feel up to drawing hands and feet... just a shame I can't really replace her face with tentacles too...
Anatomy isn't really my strong point, but it doesn't look too bad, even if I did get "distracted" whilst doing "research"...
Not used to drawing this big... turns out it's pretty hard to draw a monster girl that's only 58 pixels high...

I must applaud every ones effort in this weeks theme. Despite the theme, pretty much every one has managed to keep it appropriate! Great job everyone!
