Oh no we do not want that may the moderator dietys have mercy on our souls I mean you would think if we were having ideas anyway that it would be fine I think that weariness should only be restored through a sleep system using beds at least they would actaully serve a bedlike purpose unlike Terraria
seeing as how we have left simply oxygen levels pertaining to weariness, i agree, i shall edit again.
We weren't off topic. We were discussing alternatives to Space Suits. And Suites. Some "bubble" is visually less restrictive.
I have a feeling that spacesuits and whatnot are going to be covered by my department at least if it was bubbles instead I like bubbles
once we got to the bubble damaging other players, it was becoming off topic but this is true as well.
okay this right here amazing idea make a new thread for it and be loved there isnt much more to say on weariness maybe it is restored by eating as well
I hate to be negative, but I think I'd rather be able to lose myself mining out a planet for a couple hours without having to worry about returning to my ship to recharge. I think this might take some of the volatility out of the game and end up making it less dynamic.
For sure, but unless there was some mid-to-late game way to become immune to weariness, say maybe the research team develops cybernetic implants/pills to make you immune to the different atmosphere types (then you could be fatigued by working, but can just take a break to recharge like you would on your home planet), it might become a little tedious to always have to have a leash back to your ship when exploring the galaxy.
I think that two realtime hours would be plenty of time to do whatever you had to do except if you were on your home planet in which case you would not get weary
I really don't see the point. It seems like it's more of an annoyance mechanic. I don't mean to sound rude, but the point of this seems to be to limit exploration by forcing you to return to your pod every now and then or you face heavy penalties. I could see the use for this kind of mechanic in, say, a boss fight where you have to defeat it quickly else it gets harder, but just generally being there during your visit to a planet? Doesn't sound like something I'd want in my exploration-based game.
Shocking to say it haha, but I've totally spent longer than that underground at a time in Terraria, especially when my sister and I are playing online together. Good point though, are these planets going to be approximately the size of small Terraria worlds or will they be a little smaller I wonder?
