    You can run two versions. Copy steam.exe - create a new folder steam2 in root dir or wherever - paste steam.exe in the new dir and run it
    It will install steam. Login and you'll see no games installed
    Install Starbound and once it's done right click on it in the steam menu
    Follow previously mentioned instructions Make it unstable branch

    You now have stable and unstable versions o.-

    i hope you can tweak planet generation just a bit. it seems like to get to any of the dungeons the fastest way is nearly always go left when you beam down.
