Allow me to shed some light here zebe, it would be something like this: Penguin mole/rat (Or penguin informant, if you like that better) You thought it would be a good idea to join the syndicate, oh how wrong you were. You didn't know just how cold the leaders were, now you are regretting your decision, the best you can do is try to help their enemies without getting caught. You are the mole/rat/informant, you are secretly sided with the civilians, You have one vote, You appear to the penguins as just another penguin, You conspire with your fellow penguins each night to kill someone. You many know one protective role automatically, You may warn someone about who the penguins intend to kill twice. You win when all the penguins are dead or when you are the last penguin standing. I'm not really sure how a civilian working for the penguins would work, the more I think about it the more it seems like it would kinda just be a penguin investigator hiding among the civilians more or less.

This idea is interesting. Maybe throw in one Shadow too to make things even more interesting. This can go to the poll too. I've got some ideas for similar "special" games that don't follow the usual Syndicate format that has been use during the five games there's been. ugh so much things to post about those when the game ends no game talks Even though, this game is basically over. Kinda. Maybe. Perhaps. If nothing totally unexpected happens. I'm not sure how fun that role would be to play. I mean, that role is kinda useless during days. The role can't help in hunting the penguins (even hints on who is a penguin and who is not couldn't be tolerated), and it wouldn't make sense them to mislead or distract the Civilians. In the end they would just idle for over half of the game. They have to seem unsuspicious for both the penguins and the civvies. And besides the night should be extended so the Informant could have time to react after the penguins choose the nightkill target. And event then the penguins could wait so close to the deadline that the Informant couldn't do a thing... the role would lose all power. And after two nights it's almost useless anyways. Anyone can talk here now, as long as it isn't about Game 5. Only thing that ever has been prohibited from both the living and the dead during nights is game talk. Anything else doesn't really matter.
Hmm, I see your point, I guess it would ultimately be counter-productive. Right, onto working up an idea for a role that can resurrect people! Naw, just kidding, that's also counter-productive.
